Draw Information
All draw times currently posted are subject to change, especially after first rounds have been played and scheduling conflicts become apparent for subsequent rounds. Match notifications for 1st round play were mailed 10/2/01. If you are relying on internet posting for match time & site, please re-check the posted times & sites on the evening prior to your next scheduled match. On Wed., Thurs., & Fri. of the event, alternate sites are being used in additon to Burbank Tennis Center.

Accommodations
Discounted room rates for tournament participants are available at the Hilton Burbank Airport for Oct. 11, 12, & 13 - $79 per room (up to 4 occupants). Call 1-800-HILTONS by 10/3/01 and request the special group rate for the Senior Women's Classic. If youare going to need a room, it's better to reserve it and then cancel rather than try to get a room after you are here. Oct. is a very busy month at the Hilton, so they could sell out. (Note: the discounted rate is not available before Thurs., 10/11.)

Net Proceeds to Charity
The net proceeds from this event will be donated to the EncorePlus Program of the YWCA of Glendale. This program provides free screenings for the early detection of breast and cervical cancer for women who can not afford the tests. Last year's event raised nearly $12,000 for EncorePlus.

Luncheon/Fashion Show/Auction/Prize Drawing
Sat, Oct. 13 - Noon - 2:00 PM. Cost for complete lunch: $5 (adults), $3 (children 12 and under). Non-players welcome. You may include luncheon ticket money in your entry fee check, or sign up at the tournament desk. (No refunds for luncheon tickets purchased in advance if you are unable to attend - consider it a donation). Prize drawing: you must be present at the luncheon to win. Head Racquet Sports will conduct a racquet demo on Center Court immediately after the luncheon.

Rummage Sale
Donate your used tennis clothing (racquets and other tennis-related items also accepted) to our rummage sale. You may call to arrange for pick-up prior to the tournament or bring your items the day of your first match. Items should be clean and in good repair. If you are looking for some great deals on tennis wear, you will not be disappointed! All proceeds from the rummage sale will go to the YWCA of Glendale's EncorePlus Program.
