Check-in
Player check-in is Thursday, (10/9) from 2 PM to 6 PM at the Tucson Racquet Club. Players arriving after 6 PM MUST email their check-in info to: net4tennis@hotmail.com. We need: 1) where you are staying, 2) phone # during event (cell preferred), 3) doubles partner name (or ask us to get one for you, and we will try to accommodate -- but you can NOT refuse to play with whoever we get!), 4) if you plan to attend the Saturday night 'players ice cream social.' Maps to sites and practice sites are at check-in.
Draws posted
Draws are now posted. Please remember to re-check your start times each day, as defaults or weather may alter the schedule. Draws will be posted daily at Tucson Racquet Club and doubles/mixed doubles draws will be posted Friday morning at the club. Mixeddoubles will be played IN ITS ENTIRETY on Saturday night during the festivities/ice cream social. 8 PM hit-for-prizes and games will be at TRC -- be there whether you're playing doubles or not and have FUN!
Schedule of play
Friday: 2 rounds in Main Draw singles; up 2 rounds in Main Draw boys & girls doubles (depending on draw size). Sat: 1 round in Main Draw singles; 1 round in Main Draw boys & girls doubles; all mixed doubles (in evening - short matches). Sun: Main Draw singles semis and finals; Main Draw boys and girls doubles finals. Last matches will be doubles finals at approximately 2 PM start (will follow singles final).
Weather concerns
We will arrive and play this event no matter what. For rain delay information, you may call the club or tournament director number and we will leave messages regarding possible (repeat: POSSIBLE) delays. The usual process (shortening match formats, etc.)will be used to finish the event.
